Worship at Bethlehem We offer two worship services on a Sunday morning at 9:00am & 11am. The early service is contemporary
in style and the later service is traditional. The following apply to both services:
- Holy Communion is celebrated each
week.
- If you are baptized, trust that Jesus Christ is truly present in the breaking of bread and
sharing of cup, you are welcome to join us at the Lord's Table. Persons, including children, who normally commune in their
own fellowship are welcome to share Holy Communion with us as well.
- All are welcome to worship with
us.
- Children are not only welcome in our worship, they are encouraged and included.
- Music
is central to our worship life. We currently have a choir, band, various vocal ensemble opportunities and use a wide variety
of instrumentalists to lead worship. We use many different styles of liturgy and hymns to provide the musical settings for
the service. For instrumentation we include piano, organ, flute, guitar, harp, trombone - and just about anything else!
What's a Lutheran
Anyway?
Throughout the month August, Pastor Nelson is presenting a 5-part
sermon series entitled "What's a Lutheran Anyway?," which will cover some of the basic teachings of the Lutheran Church
and explain how Lutherans live out their faith. You can follow along with the series by watching the sermon videos below or
by picking up a DVD at the information kiosk at Bethlehem.
